Important Terms & Conditions

Yay!  Look at you being a legend and checking out the Terms and Conditions rather than just blindly ticking that you read them and hoping for the best.

We're proud of you!  Plus, for what it's worth we are going to do what we can to make these entertaining and informative to read.  

 

For convenience, this page is organised in descending order so therefore should have the most current promotion/offer/event terms at the top with older information further down.

Refer-A-Friend Program:

Our referral program - how it works and the fine print (which is actually fine).

 

How to refer someone (it's one step):

Tell a friend, family member, neighbour or anyone else whose home could use a SORT, and ask them to mention your name when they contact or book with us.  That's it.  No code, form, or app.  

We track referrals by the name given at the time of inquiry or booking.  If two clients share a first name, we'll do our best to identify the right person, based on context.  Though it helps if your friend can mention your surname or suburb too, just in case.

What the new client receives:

The new client (that's your friend) will receive $200 off their first invoice with SORT My Space, provided:

- They mention the referring person's name at the time of enquiry or booking;

- They proceed with and pay for a booked service; and

- The $200discount is applied to their first invoice only, and cannot be split across multiple bookings.

The discount cannot be exchanged for cash, combined with any other offer, or applied to future bookings.

What you receive (the person who referred):

Once your referred friend's booking is completed and their invoice is paid, we'll reach ayr ri sat rgabj try and send you a $200 credit towrard your next SORT My Space service. 

This credit:

- Is valid for 12 months from the date of issue;

- Applies to any SORT My Space service booking; and

- Cannot be transferred, split across bookings or exchanged for cash.

What if you don't need another service right now:

We get it, sometimes the house is already sorted,  If you'd prefer not to use the $200 service credit, you may instead opt to receive a $50 gift card to a participating retailer.  We'll let you know which options are available at the time (we like to choose ones that have bonus reward points - sensible people do sensible things).  We'll do our best to accommodate a preference, if you have one, but the final selection is at our discretion.

The $50 gift card options is only available where a genuine service need doesn't exist.  It's not a work around - we'll ask... and we've seen your house at this point.

Eligibility - who can refer and be referred:

To refer someone, you must be an existing SORT My Space Client - someone who has previously completed and paid for a service with us.

The person being referred must be a new client - someone who has not previously booked or received a service from SORT My Space.

Self-referrals, referrals between household members sharing the same address and referrals of existing clients are not eligible.  We're friendly, but we're not that friendly.

There's no cap on how many people you can refer, but each new client can only be referred once (by one person), and each referral reward is issued per completed booking not per enquiry.

Timing and Tracking:

The referral must be registered - meaning the referring name must be provided before or at the time of booking.  We're unable to apply referral discounts retrospectively once an invoice has been issued or paid.  Your reward credit will be issued within 14 days of the new client's first invoice being paid in full.

The general stuff (please ready anyway):

SORT My Space reserves the right to  modify, pause, or end this program at any time with reasonable notice.  Any referrals already in progress at the time of a change will be honoured under the terms that were in place when the referral was made.  

We reserve the right to decline a referral reward in cases of suspected misuse, fraudulent referrals, or where the terms above have not been met.  If you're unsure whether something qualifies, just ask -we'd rather sort it out upfront.

Participating in this program means you're happy with these terms.  If anything is unclear, reach out to us at admin@sortmyspace.com.au and we'll be happy to explain it over a (metaphorical) cup of tea.

If it hasn't already dawned on you, the smart play is to book us for your biggest pain point space first.  If we do our job properly - asn we intend to - you'll have plenty of genuine reasons to recommend us.  Do that, and your remaining spaces start looking a lot more affordable.

Ticket & Event Policy:

Our Ticket and Event Terms are detailed below, these terms apply to all events and tickets sold by SORT my Space regardless of price or the type of event (workshops/masterclass/conferences).

1. Ticket Presentation:

This ticket must be presented for entry, either in printed or digital format.

Tickets are non-replaceable if lost or stolen.

2. Event Details:

Full event details, including date, time and venue are available on our website.

Attendees are responsible for reviewing these details prior to the event to the event.

3. Refunds and Cancellations:

All ticket sales are final.  Refunds will not be provided under any circumstances, except if the event is cancelled by the organiser.

If the event is postponed or rescheduled, you ticket will be valid for the new date.

4. Attendance Changes:

If you cannot attend, please notify the organisers in advance.  Tickets are transferable to another individual, provided you inform us of the new attendees name at minimum of 10 days before the event.

5. Force Majeur:

The organiser reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the event due to unforeseen circumstances beyond their control (e.g. extreme weather, venue issues).  Attendees will be notified promptly in such cases.

7. Photography and Media Release:

Photographs or videos may be taken during the event for promotional purposes.  By attending, you consent to being included in this media unless you inform the organisers prior to the event.
